- Assisteren bij de ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van nieuwe productformuleringen en processen.
- Uitvoeren van verschillende laboratoriumtests en experimenten onder begeleiding van ervaren technici en ingenieurs.
- Opzetten van pilotinstallaties, uitvoeren van pilottests en assisteren bij productietests.
- Documenteer uw werk met alle details elektronisch. Houd nauwkeurige gegevens bij van experimentele gegevens en observaties.
- Vertaal de ontvangen taken en de masterplanning naar de persoonlijke planning en voer deze dienovereenkomstig uit; verzamel alle benodigde middelen en beheer of rapporteer obstakels en conflicten.
- Voorbereiden van ionenwisselingsharskolommen op laboratoriumschaal en uitvoeren van raffinage-experimenten en actieve kooltechnieken voor water- en siroopbehandeling.
- Uitvoeren van filtratieprocessen voor water- en siroopoplossingen, waarbij kwaliteit en zuiverheid worden gegarandeerd en de procesparameters tijdens de werking worden gevolgd.
- Uiteindelijk stabiliteits- en verouderingstests uitvoeren op vloeibare monsters, gegevens registreren en analyseren.
- Algemene ontwikkelingen in het vakgebied volgen; relevante wetenschappelijke artikelen lezen.
- Lab- en pilot-onderhoud uitvoeren, kalibraties uitvoeren en onderhoud plegen, inclusief contacten met leveranciers (voor nieuwe materialen, onderhoud of reparatie, enz.).
- SOP's (Standaard Operationele Procedures) opstellen voor laboratorium- en pilotunits en ook verantwoordelijk zijn voor bepaalde apparatuur.
- Samenwerken met interdisciplinaire teams om productontwikkeling en verbeteringsinitiatieven te ondersteunen.
- Laboratoriumveiligheidsprotocollen volgen en een schone en georganiseerde werkomgeving handhaven, inclusief 5S-normen.
- U heeft een professionele bachelor (bio-)chemie (of vergelijkbaar) met minimaal 10 jaar ervaring in een laboratorium- of pilot-plantomgeving, bij voorkeur in de voedingsindustrie, biotransformatie of downstream processen.
- U bent bedreven in filtratieprocessen voor water- en siroopoplossingen.
- U bent bekend met ionenwisseling en actieve kooltechnieken voor water- en siroopbehandeling.
- U heeft begrip van scheidingsmethoden (HPLC, GC, etc.) en natte chemie.
- U heeft kennis en ervaring op het gebied van gegevensverwerving en registratie, met name in Excel of vergelijkbare softwaretools.
- U heeft sterke analytische vaardigheden en hecht waarde aan nauwkeurigheid en aandacht voor detail in uw werk.
- U bent gedetailleerd georiënteerd met het vermogen om instructies en protocollen nauwkeurig op te volgen.
- U bent een organisatietalent, flexibel en in staat om prioriteiten te stellen.
- U beschikt over goede communicatie- en teamworkvaardigheden.
- U bent vloeiend in Engels (zowel schriftelijk als gesproken). Kennis van Nederlands en Frans is een pluspunt.
