As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for energy traders and providers in a rapidly evolving industry.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Migrate and modernize our infrastructure by transitioning from on-premises to full cloud solutions.
- Driving cloud maturity and PaaS adoption.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate deployments and configurations.
- Enhance security and compliance, aligning with ISO 27001 standards through role-based access control (RBAC), secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
- Optimize infrastructure costs, reducing operational expenses by 25%, while maintaining high performance.
- Ensure high availability and system redundancy through clustering and failover strategies.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to improve system reliability and incident response.
- Support 24/7 trading operations, providing critical infrastructure support to minimize downtime and operational risks.
- Work closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and enhance DevOps practices.
- Contribute to the deployment of security tools, such as Intune, Defender, and PKI to enhance system protection.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer who is passionate about cloud transformation, automation, and security. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in Azure cloud environments, including virtual networks, storage, compute, and security configurations.
- Familiar with both the Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption frameworks.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Extensive experience working with container technologies and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated expertise in setting up effective monitoring and alerting systems utilizing tools such as Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, and Blackbox Exporter.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash for automation and system management.
- Experience in managing databases, including MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including role-based access controls, certificates, and vulnerability scanning.
- Hands-on experience with networking and VPN solutions, including Fortinet, IPSEC, OpenVPN, and SD-WAN.
- Relevant certifications in Azure, Networking, or Security are a plus.
