We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Team Lead to lead the implementation of the Sigedis legal project in Belgium. The project focuses on communicating new Sigedis declarations and managing the pension sheet flow starting from January 2026. This role requires managing the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (IT, business, functional/technical experts, architects, testers) to define project scope, planning, and deliverables.
- Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project objectives.
- Work closely with business project managers to ensure seamless communication and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the execution of IT tasks based on technical analysis and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Oversee project resource management and report on project status to senior stakeholders, ensuring compliance with PMO standards.
- Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, and raise issues to appropriate levels for resolution.
- Facilitate smooth communication between delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Personal Capabilities Required:
- Ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior-level influencers.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, capable of working under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach to managing IT projects with minimal technical expertise in infrastructure and applications.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and results-driven, with strong commitment to achieving project goals.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in managing large IT projects and programs.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), with certification preferred.
- Proven ability to work with multiple IT service providers and solution integrators.
- Strong knowledge of Sigedis and the Life Insurance or Pension Scheme industry, especially related to regulatory compliance.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
