For our client in the Automotive sector, located in Zaventem, we are looking for a Project Support Analyst.
The Planning & Development team of our client is responsible for developing:
- Reman products (Starter & Alternator, Fuel systems,...)
- Market value parts (battery, cabin air filter, oil filter, ...)
This department is constantly trying to meet Quality, Cost & Lead time targets and works closely with suppliers and other divisions to do so.
We are looking for a Project Support Analyst to oversee the entire development cycle, until the parts are available in stock and successfully handed over to the Marketing team.
Job description:
- In this role, you are responsible for the research and creation of the planning for new Reman & MVP parts.
- You will lead and drive the full development process and perform design reviews with suppliers to make sure parts meet technical specifications and to achieve on time introduction within the target.
- You will be controlling & supporting suppliers to stay on schedule and meet development milestones.
- You analyse existing sales data and find potential candidates to develop Reman or MVP parts.
- You are always looking for ways to improve quality during development and mass production and find ways to reduce costs and enhance performance.
- You will explore new opportunities with suppliers and National Marketing and Sales Companies (NMSC), analyze competitors, and visit technology fairs to check current and future parts trends.
- You will have the chance to travel to our partners in different countries to do research, fairs and visits (10-20% of your time).
Who are you:
- You have a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- You have a few years of experience in engineering, development, project engineering or production experience in the automotive industry.
- You research the facts before making recommendations or decisions.
- You are strong at relationship building and have excellent communication skills.
- You have a process oriented way of working.
- You are fluent in English.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- You are a flexible team player with hands-on mentality.
- You can adapt to different European markets and cultures and keep an open mind.
