Wij zijn op zoek naar een Financial Controller voor een dynamisch en internationaal georiënteerd bedrijf in de logistieke sector, gevestigd in West-Vlaanderen.
De rol van Financial Controller betreft het beheer van de financiële administratie, inclusief het proces van maandafsluitingen, de controle van de balans, en de voorbereiding van de jaarrekeningen.
Je zal verantwoordelijk zijn voor het beheren van de financiële rapportages, het ondersteunen van de budgettering en het toezicht houden op het cashflowbeheer.
Wat ga je doen?
- Financiële rapportages: Je zorgt voor een tijdige en accurate maandafsluiting, inclusief het opstellen van de balans, verlies- en winstrekeningen, en kasstroomoverzichten.
- Budgettering & Prognoses: Je ontwikkelt en bewaakt de jaarlijkse budgetten en maakt periodieke financiële prognoses.
- Kostenbeheer: Je analyseert de kostenstructuur en identificeert mogelijkheden voor kostenoptimalisatie.
- Cashflowbeheer: Je bewaakt de kasstroom en ondersteunt het management in het nemen van strategische beslissingen.
- Fiscale naleving: Je zorgt ervoor dat het bedrijf voldoet aan de belasting- en rapportagevereisten, inclusief btw-aangiften en andere wettelijke verplichtingen.
- Interne controle & processen: Je houdt toezicht op het naleven van interne procedures en zorgt voor de verbetering van financiële processen.
- Leidinggeven aan een klein team: Je stuurt de financiële administratie aan en zorgt voor de ontwikkeling en motivatie van het team.
We zoeken:
- Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Accountancy, Bedrijfseconomie of een verwante richting.
- Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare financiële functie, bij voorkeur in de logistieke sector.
- Ervaring met het opstellen van jaarrekeningen, maandafsluitingen en financiële rapportages.
- Je hebt uitstekende analytische vaardigheden en een sterke affiniteit met cijfers.
- Kennis van boekhoudkundige software en MS Excel (ervaring met ERP-systemen is een plus).
- Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Frans is een plus.
- Je hebt een proactieve en resultaatgerichte werkhouding en kunt goed functioneren onder druk.
- Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en kunt goed samenwerken met verschillende afdelingen binnen het bedrijf.
