Verantwoordelijkheden van de Solutions Architect:
Als Solutions Architect ben je de schakel tussen business en technologie en werk je aan innovatieve GIS-oplossingen. Jouw taken omvatten:
- Met een analytische blik vertaal je businessbehoeften naar schaalbare en duurzame GIS- oplossingen.
- Op basis van strategische doelstellingen stel je architecturale ontwerpen en roadmap-strategieën op die klanten helpen hun technologische ambities te realiseren.
- Door optimalisatie en integratie verbeter je IT-landschappen en implementeer je GIS-oplossingen en data gedreven besluitvorming.
- Samen met ontwikkelteams begeleid je implementaties en zorg je ervoor dat architectuurstandaarden en best practices worden nageleefd.
- In overleg met diverse stakeholders communiceer je helder over technische keuzes en architectuurprincipes.
- Door innovatie en onderzoek evalueer je nieuwe trends en vertaal je deze naar klantgerichte oplossingen.
Het profiel van een Solutions Architect:
- Masterdiploma in IT, Geografie, Ingenieurswetenschappen of een gelijkwaardig diploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
- Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als Solutions Architect, bij voorkeur binnen een IT-bedrijf of in een consultancy omgeving
- Vertrouwd met verschillende modelleertalen zoals UML en Archimate. (andere bijkomende modelleertalen zijn zeker een pluspunt)
- Vlot in de omgang, analytisch en leergierig
- Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van het Frans is een pluspunt
