Join our exciting opportunity for a HR Officer/Advisor here at GXO Logistics in Zellik, Belgium

This is a very important role to our business, so your expertise within HR and a good understanding of payroll processes within Belgium is needed.

Due to our multicultural environment you need to have clear communication in Dutch, French and English to a professional level.

What you do on a typical day – HR Officer

  • Dealing with payroll enquiries, compensation, updating protime and liaising with external payroll provider when required
  • Promoting employee engagement, with weekly personal contact
  • Day to day HR processes, from contract management, policies and procedures and promoting a positive work culture
  • Supporting operations with any training, performance management, disciplinary guidance
  • Facilitate new hire orientation ensuring a positive onboarding of new employees

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English to a professional level
  • Bachelor's degree within a HR discipline or minimum of 3 years HR expertise
  • Payroll knowledge
  • Use of VISMA would be advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management and self-driven
