We are working with an employer who are looking for a permanent Senior Precision Mechanical Engineer to join an international engineering organisation in the Limburg area. The employer is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in precision mechanical design,. ideally within a high-tech or custom-engineered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and developing high-precision mechanical components, mechanisms and systems
- Creating detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Selecting appropriate materials, components and manufacturing methods for precision applications
- Taking ownership of projects from initial concept through to a fully functioning system
- Providing technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to junior engineers and designers
- Ensuring designs meet requirements for quality, cost, performance and delivery
About you
- A degree in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics or a related technical discipline
- Several years of experience in precision mechanical design or mechanical engineering
- Strong experience with 3D CAD and the creation of detailed technical drawings
- A good understanding of mechanical components, materials, manufacturing processes and tolerances
- A hands‑on mentality and an interest in seeing your designs built, tested and optimised
