Project focus

  • Provide hands-on technical support for electric vehicles arriving into the European market.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using approved diagnostic equipment, identifying root causes and determining the appropriate repair process.
  • Carry out repairs and replacement of EV components and systems.
  • Complete visual and technical quality inspections prior to customer delivery, identifying functional and cosmetic defects.
  • Investigate electrical faults, display/UI issues, lighting defects and other vehicle-quality concerns.
  • Extract and analyse vehicle log files to investigate new or unknown technical faults.
  • Provide onsite technical support for Over-the-Air (OTA) software issues during PDI activities.
  • Track spare parts and support the resolution of outstanding vehicle issues.
  • Produce clear technical reports covering faults, diagnostic steps, repairs and final solutions.
  • Communicate technical findings with technical teams, management and other internal stakeholders.

Key skills and Experience required

  • Technical qualification or background focused on electric/hybrid vehicles, with previous practical experience in an EV or hybrid technical position.
  • Minimum Level 3 EV certification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an EV Technician, Hybrid Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Automotive Technician or similar.
  • Strong electrical and electronic fault-finding skills, with a good understanding of electric/hybrid vehicle systems.
  • Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment, software and diagnostic platforms.
  • Ability to approach complex technical faults logically and analytically, with a strong focus on identifying root causes.
  • Strong attention to detail when carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying technical or cosmetic defects.
  • Comfortable using IT systems, diagnostic platforms and reporting tools.
  • Ability to clearly document technical problems, diagnostic processes and completed repairs.
  • Fluent English is required; Dutch/Flemish is advantageous but not essential.
  • Additional European languages would be welcomed.
