At Magnax, we are designing the next generation of high-performance, energy-efficient systems. We’re looking for a Power Electronics and Motor Control Engineer to join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in creating systems that push boundaries in robotics and industry.
About the role
This is what you’ll do:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and optimize high-efficiency power electronic & motor control systems.
- Create detailed requirements and functional designs for power electronic circuits & motor controllers..
- Perform simulations, testing, and validation to ensure system performance meets all requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the design, prototyping, and manufacturing phases.
- Ensure products are compliant with relevant standards for power drive systems.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in power electronics in robotics & industrial applications.
Who are we looking for?
- A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power electronics & circuit design.
- Strong knowledge of inverters and motor controllers.
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Kicad, Altium or equivalent.
- Experience with electronic circuit simulation software such as LTSpice or equivalent.
- Understanding of thermal management and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Previous experience in model-based design and/or FPGA platforms will be considered a plus.
- A team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
