SEC Newgate EU is a Brussels-based advocacy and communications consultancy with a global presence as part of the SEC Newgate Group; we are currently looking for an Account Manager in Media Relations to join our team.

THE ROLE

As an Account Manager in Media Relations, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering high-impact media relations programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery: developing media engagement strategies, identifying and pursuing opportunities, building trusted relationships with journalists, and delivering high-quality media outreach that helps clients strengthen their visibility and reputation.

You will work closely with senior colleagues and multidisciplinary client teams, bringing initiative, creativity and sound media judgement to the work. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute to the development and coaching of more junior team members.

We are looking for a proactive, curious and well‑organised communications professional who is comfortable taking responsibility, working independently and collaborating with others in a fast-paced agency environment.
