YOUR TASKS

  • You will analyze the pathogenic mechanisms of a smad6a/b double-knockout zebrafish model using single-cell multiomics.
  • You will provide support in the analysis of a zebrafish model for Myhre syndrome.
  • You will develop a zebrafish model for ZTTK syndrome (SONA/B).
  • You will contribute to scientific publications and research funding applications.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a PhD in Medical Sciences.
  • You have previously given oral presentations at international conferences.
  • You have extensive and demonstrable experience in the development and phenotypic analysis of zebrafish models.
  • You have demonstrable experience in research into the pathogenesis of thoracic aortic aneurysm syndromes.
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • You are a hard-working and proactive team member who enjoys actively contributing ideas to projects within the broader research group.
  • You are a patient and flexible leader, providing day-to-day support and guidance to Master’s and PhD students within the group.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of definite duration for a period of 4 months.
  • Your contract will start on 1/10/2026 at the earliest.
