Job Title:
Grade 181 - Customer Liaison Officer (Mixing Facility - Marsa)
Reporting to:
Team Manager
Job Role:
To manage customer orders and communication from receipt through shipment, maintain accurate order and schedule information, and coordinate with production planning and logistics to identify and resolve risks to delivery.
Duties, Responsibilities And Authorities
- To pack and prepare the product for shipment.
- To liaise with logistics officer in order to book product for shipment.
- To perform quality check during packaging of the material, to corroborate a correct packaging condition of the bags and box, form of the material, quantities, and presence and packaging of the samples and labelling required.
- Able to carry out the duties of Millman/Compounder.
- To assist or replace when needed the millroom storemen in preparing shipments to Halfar site, as well as raw materials management (receiving, labelling, supply to production, etc).
- To offload goods received when needed.
- Able to place orders for production needs as per request.
- To report every week the target and accomplished sales figures.
- To maintain the system customer pricebook always updated.
- Compliance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
- Responsible for reporting any hazards / near misses / injuries immediately you’re aware of to the area management.
Skills/Education
- Secondary School level education (minimum O Level standard)
- Fluency in both Maltese and English
- Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of shop floor operations and practices
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
Working Hours
- Day shift position.
- Flexibility may be required in accordance with company exigencies and operational requirements.
