Established in 1972, BEPS International School has spent over 50 years nurturing confident, independent learners and global citizens in the heart of Brussels. Set close to the Bois de la Cambre, our school welcomes around 300 students aged 2.5 to 18, drawn from more than 50 nationalities. When you join BEPS, you join a family.
Our Secondary building, redesigned in 2022 as an innovative ‘co-learning’ space, is home to our IB continuum: the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and, in the final years, the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and IB Career-related Programme (CP). We take a unique approach to the IB, placing creativity, critical thinking, and student agency at the heart of every subject. At BEPS, every moment is a learning moment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate PE lessons across the whole school
- Promote physical literacy, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits among students
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PE within the IEYC, the IPC and IB MYP/DP framework
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
- Assess and report on student progress in line with school policy
Qualifications & Skills
- Recognised teaching qualification in Physical Education
- Experience teaching PE across multiple age groups (whole school experience an asset)
- Familiarity with the IB framework is a strong advantage
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages an asset)
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and collaborative team player
