Our corporate research center is based in Belgium, next to that we run 5 other R&D satellites worldwide.

Currently, we are looking for a Processl Engineer in Lummen (Belgium):

As a Process Engineer, you will be the technical expert in manufacturing processes and industrialization. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between product design and production, ensuring that products can be manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and optimize processes, drive industrialization, and contribute directly to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes for new products and technologies;
• Translate product requirements into effective manufacturing solutions;
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for new product launches;
• Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance;
• Support production plants in addressing process-related challenges;
• Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
• Contribute to the development and implementation of global process standards and best practices.

Your profile:

You bring strong experience in capacity calculations, as well as machine and tooling definition. A solid understanding of welding technologies and metal forming processes is highly valued. With your hands‑on approach and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, you turn challenges into practical solutions. You are flexible and adaptable, and thrive in our dynamic environment.

Additionally, we ask for:

• A Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment;
• Fluency in Dutch and English, combined with excellent communication skills;
• Willingness to travel 3–4 times per year to international Bosal plants.
