At Projective Group Talent, we offer an exceptional career experience in Financial Services. We support and coach you in developing new skills and progressing in your career, whether as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or in a leading role. As an IT Financial Analyst, you keep a clear view of the IT budget, forecasts and financial reporting while helping stakeholders make well-informed decisions. You will combine financial analysis with stakeholder coordination and gain broad exposure to IT governance, workforce planning and operational finance.

You will join the IT organisation of a Belgian cooperative insurer that combines a strong local presence with a people-focused and socially engaged approach. Within the departmental portfolio management environment, you will work with IT Management, business teams and project stakeholders to maintain reliable financial insight across the IT scope. The role sits at the intersection of budgeting, reporting, accounting and external workforce administration, in a setting where accuracy and constructive collaboration matter.

Your Tasks

  • Collect input from IT, business and project stakeholders to prepare the three-year IT budget.
  • Monitor budget transfers, variances and other changes throughout the year.
  • Check budget availability before orders are approved and help identify suitable solutions.
  • Process invoices and provide the correct cost centre, order and budget information.
  • Prepare monthly accruals and review financial figures recorded in SAP.
  • Refine forecasts and deliver clear financial reporting to governance stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the budgetary and administrative follow-up of internal and external IT staff.
  • A Master's degree in Economics, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant experience with budgeting, financial analysis, controlling or operational finance, ideally in an IT environment.
  • A sound understanding of analytical and general accounting principles.
  • Confidence working with Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP and reporting tools such as SAS is a plus.
  • Fluency in Dutch and French, with the ability to work comfortably with stakeholders in both languages.
  • A structured and accurate approach, with a practical eye for financial detail.
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to question figures or assumptions constructively.
  • The flexibility to manage recurring peak periods while maintaining quality and collaboration.
