Position Overview
This internship is open exclusively to students currently enrolled at a Belgian university.
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development of software tools and applications that support the design, simulation, visualization, and validation of advanced navigation and sensing systems. Depending on your background and interests, your work may involve graphical user interfaces, data visualization, simulation software, software architecture, testing frameworks, or other supporting software components.
You will collaborate closely with our engineering and research teams to develop robust, maintainable, and user-friendly software for advanced aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software tools supporting simulation, visualization, and system analysis.
- Implement software components and integrate them with existing backend systems.
- Contribute to software architecture, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams on software development activities.
- Document software design, implementation, and testing.
Required Profile
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program at a Belgian university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience programming in one or more languages such as Python, C, C++, JavaScript, or C#.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
