Editx is a dynamic community and platform connecting IT professionals, students, companies and technology enthusiasts. We organize events, competitions and initiatives designed to bring the IT community together, help young talents develop their skills, and create meaningful connections between companies and the next generation of tech professionals.

We are looking for a young IT graduate who is curious, proactive and eager to take on responsibility in a fast-moving environment.

The Role

As a Junior IT & Digital Project Officer, you will work closely with the Editx team on the development and day-to-day management of our digital activities.

This is a hands-on role with a lot of variety. You will not simply be maintaining systems — you will be involved in IT projects, digital platforms, events, user support and the development of new ideas.

You will have the opportunity to learn quickly, work with different technologies and interact with students, IT professionals, universities and companies.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on your profile and interests, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and improving Editx's digital platforms and online tools
• Managing user accounts, registrations and technical issues
• Providing first-line technical support to participants, partners and users
• Helping organize and technically support IT events, competitions and workshops
• Monitoring platforms and ensuring that everything runs smoothly during events
• Working with external IT providers and technology partners
• Identifying opportunities to automate and improve internal processes
• Supporting data management, reporting and basic analytics
• Testing new tools, features and technologies
• Contributing to the development of new digital initiatives
• Documenting processes and creating simple technical documentation
• Helping the team turn ideas into practical digital solutions

Who We're Looking For

You recently graduated in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.

More importantly, you are:

• Curious and genuinely interested in technology
• Comfortable learning new tools and technologies independently
• Proactive and willing to take ownership
• Practical and solution-oriented
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical people
• Well organized and able to manage several tasks at once
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a strong plus
• Interested in the intersection between technology, people and business

You don't need to know everything. We are looking for someone with the right mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn.

Technical Skills

Depending on your background, experience with some of the following would be an advantage:

• Python, Java, C# or another programming language
• SQL and databases
• APIs and integrations
• Cloud platforms and SaaS tools
• Git / GitHub
• Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
• Basic networking and IT infrastructure
• Automation tools and AI tools

You don't need to master all of these — a strong technical foundation and the ability to learn quickly matter more than a long list of technologies.
