Job Description
Our client is transforming its fragmented legacy clinicaldata landscape into a modern, governed Clinical Data Layer (CDL). The objectiveis to centralize, manage, govern, and secure clinical data in compliance withregulatory and GxP requirements.
The contingent will support the Clinical Data Layerinitiative within the Ruby Program and act as the key interface betweenbusiness stakeholders and the technical implementation partner. The rolecombines Business Analysis, Delivery Coordination, Stakeholder Management, andBusiness Engagement activities.
Typical Day
- Facilitateworkshops with business stakeholders
- Gather,analyze, prioritize, and document requirements
- Manageand maintain the business backlog
- Coordinatewith the external implementation partner
- Acta delivery counterpart and business representative
- SupportUAT preparation and business validation activities
- Drivestakeholder engagement and communication
- Organizeapprovals and alignment across stakeholder groups
- Supportbusiness adoption and training activities
Main stakeholders include:
- ClinicalData Managers
- StatisticalProgrammers
- Biometricsteams
- ClinicalOperations stakeholders
Requirements
Years of Experience
- Ideally8+ years of experience
- However,the manager is flexible for candidates with fewer years if theydemonstrate strong and relevant hands-on experience in similar clinicaldata initiatives
Must Have
- StrongPharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry experience
- Deepunderstanding of Clinical Trial Lifecycle
- Knowledgeof CDISC standards
- Experienceworking with:
- ClinicalData Management
- Biostatistics/ Statistical Programming teams
- Experiencegathering and managing business requirements
- Stakeholdermanagement and workshop facilitation
- Familiaritywith Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps environments
- Understandingof GxP-regulated environments
- Strongcommunication and coordination skills
Ideal Candidate
A candidate who has already delivered a Clinical DataPlatform / Clinical Data Layer implementation in another pharmaceuticalcompany.
Someone who can act as:
- SeniorBusiness Analyst
- DeliveryLead
- Product-orientedbusiness representative
and who can immediately understand the challenges ofClinical Data Management, Biometrics, and Clinical Development organizations.
Nice to Have
- Previousexperience working on Clinical Data Layer or Data Platform transformationprograms
- Experiencecollaborating with system integrators or implementation partners
- Changemanagement and training experience
