We're looking for a media support engineer to provide first-line technical support for radio, television and live broadcasts. You'll help journalists, editors and directors resolve production problems and use new systems and equipment.

What you'll do

  • Resolve technical incidents across production tools and facilities.
  • Coordinate technical specialists to restore production services quickly.
  • Support technical projects involving studios, broadcast systems and recording equipment.
  • Test new production systems and equipment.
  • Document technical systems and equipment for end users.
  • Train production staff to use technical tools and facilities.

What you bring

  • At least three years of experience in media.
  • At least three years operating or coordinating a technical environment.
  • Experience in a broadcast environment or audiovisual technology.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Dutch, C2.
  • Clear communication, a helpful approach and the ability to work well with colleagues.
  • Analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A focus on quality, personal responsibility and openness to feedback.

Nice to have

  • Experience with audio, video and editing software.
  • Experience processing media files.
  • Knowledge of Windows and macOS.
  • Knowledge of audio or video recording equipment, including microphones, mixing desks and video cameras.
  • Technical or audiovisual training, with knowledge of IT and electronics.

  • Part-time or full-time hours are possible.
