As part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team, the Project Manager supports the successful delivery of engineering and construction projects on behalf of the client. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, the role is responsible for managing day-to-day project activities across scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder engagement.

The position will primarily support mechanical and utilities projects within industrial facilities, including chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, steam systems, and building control infrastructure. The Project Manager works collaboratively with client teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved.

The role requires the ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently, balancing competing priorities while maintaining alignment with client business objectives and operational requirements. A strong understanding of industrial environments, commissioning, validation, safety, and compliance processes is essential. The Project Manager champions the client’s interests throughout the project lifecycle, supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes that meet performance, schedule, and budget expectations.

Typically responsible for managing projects of moderate complexity and value, ranging from $10,000 to $5,000,000, with guidance and oversight provided by the Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate project opportunities from within a set portfolio of maintenance contracts.
• Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
• Work with developers, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s).
• Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case andin turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins.
• Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tenderanalysis of all sub-contractor returns.
• Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project theyare leading.
• Ensure the customers QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project.
• Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures.
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end”. Activities to include butnot be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractormanagement and site manager duties.
• Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of theproject(s).
• Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans.
• Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project andthe business.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
• Provide timely monthly reports to the Project Development Manager in an agreed format.
• Civil Engineer (architect) or Industrial Engineer

Qualifications

• Minimum 3years’ experience of successfully delivering projects in a technical, FM, construction orcritical environment
• Recognised qualification in Project Management
• Fluent in Dutchand English (orally and written)
• Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation
• Experience and skills in understanding, developing and maintaining client relationships
• Analytically minded with strong financial and numerical skills
• Strong presentation skills and proven ability to secure new business
• Proficient in common application software (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Experience in oil and gas or similar industry with intensive safety programs is considered a plus
