Business Process Expert

As a Process Optimization Expert, you will be part of the Operational Excellence organization and contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of Operational Intelligence, Operational Reporting and Operational Accounting activities.

You will work closely with operational teams, managers and stakeholders to understand how activities are currently performed, how workloads are distributed, how capacity is used and how value is delivered. Based on this analysis, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and scalability.

Your primary focus will be on Operational Intelligence and Operational Reporting, supporting the analysis, simplification, standardization and optimization of activities and processes. Where relevant, you will also contribute to Operational Accounting initiatives, ensuring consistency, knowledge sharing and alignment with Operational Excellence practices across the department.

As business needs, technologies and delivery models evolve, you will contribute to process optimization and operational transformation initiatives, helping teams adapt their ways of working and prepare for future challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct activity, workload and process assessments across Operational Intelligence, Operational Reporting and Operational Accounting to understand how capacity is consumed and how value is delivered.
• Collect, structure and analyze information related to activities, workloads, processes and outcomes to support fact-based decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate or redesign activities and processes to improve efficiency, scalability and business value.
• Evaluate existing activities and provide recommendations on how work should be organized, allocated and delivered to support future operational needs.
• Support Operational Excellence and transformation initiatives, contributing to the implementation of improved ways of working.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with operational teams and stakeholders to gather insights, challenge assumptions and develop improvement roadmaps.
• Support the documentation and standardization of operational activities, processes and working practices.
• Monitor the impact of improvement initiatives and help measure the benefits achieved through implemented changes.
• Identify and support the adoption of automation, artificial intelligence and process optimization opportunities where relevant.
• Promote collaboration, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across Operational Intelligence, Operational Reporting and Operational Accounting teams.

Experience & Skills

• Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Business Analysis, Transformation, Consulting or a similar environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in process mapping, workload assessment, activity analysis or operational improvement.
• Ability to structure complex information and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting organizational transformation or change initiatives.
• Ability to challenge existing assumptions in a constructive and fact-based manner.
• Curiosity about automation, artificial intelligence, process optimization and new technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a changing environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
