For our client, one of Europe’s fastest-growing high-tech imaging companies, we are looking for an experienced Image Sensor Architect to shape the next generation of infrared imaging technology.
You will take technical ownership of the read-out IC (ROIC) development for advanced image sensors: from sensor targets and top-level architecture through tape-out, validation and product delivery.
Your role
- Define ROIC and image-sensor architectures for high-performance infrared imaging products
- Translate system and sensor requirements into readout concepts, interfaces, timing and key design trade-offs
- Lead the technical development of complete ICs from specification through tape-out and silicon validation
Your background
- Extensive experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design for image sensors, ROICs, CMOS image sensors, infrared imaging, SPAD or ToF applications
- Proven ownership of a complete image-sensor or ROIC development, ideally from architecture/specification through tape-out and silicon validation
- Strong understanding of sensor readout chains, analog front ends, ADCs, timing, interfaces and performance trade-offs
- Experience coordinating technical work across design, layout, verification and validation teams
- Confident with Cadence and/or Siemens EDA tools
- Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Microelectronics or a related discipline
- A highly technical role with real ownership over innovative infrared sensor products
- The opportunity to influence architecture decisions at the heart of new imaging platforms
- A growing international R&D environment with short decision paths
- Collaboration with experienced specialists across sensor design, optics, electronics and manufacturing
- Competitive benefits package, including company car or mobility options, net allowance and bonus opportunities
