Functional Analyst (French-speaking or very good level)
For a client in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Analyst to strengthen a large-scale business transformation program. You will join an Agile environment where you will contribute to the modernization, handover, and development of business-critical applications. Acting as the link between business and IT, you will support projects from analysis through delivery.

- Start: ASAP
- Region: Brussels
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
- Onsite attendance: A minimum of 8 hours per onsite working day is required. On remote working days, the maximum is 7 hours and 48 minutes. To achieve a 40-hour work week, consultants are expected to work 8 hours and 18 minutes per onsite day.
- Early termination: In the event of early termination of the assignment, the final 10 working days cannot be invoiced. The client is looking for a long-term engagement of approximately two years, with contracts renewed every three months.
- Belgian nationality is mandatory
- Analyze and document existing and new business processes
- Translate business requirements into functional analyses and solution designs
- Prepare software requirements, functional documentation, and data models
- Write user stories and support test analysis and test case preparation
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers
- Ensure end-to-end follow-up of new functionalities and application deliveries
- Actively contribute within an Agile/Scrum team
- Identify risks and support project decision‑making
Who are you and what do you bring?
You have solid experience as a Senior Functional Analyst
You have strong business and functional analysis skills in complex IT environments
You have hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
You are experienced with BPMN, UML, and functional modelling
You can translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams
You have experience producing software requirements, data models, user stories, and test plans
You understand technical concepts such as APIs, mappings, services, batches, and business models, without performing technical development tasks
You have excellent communication skills and can interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
You are analytical, customer-oriented, and solution-driven
Knowledge of Confluence, SQL, and Customer Journey Mapping is considered an asset
You are fluent French, Dutch and English
