Asenium is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to support cross-functional software delivery teams. You will champion Agile practices, coach teams and stakeholders, and remove obstacles to effective delivery.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Ensure consistent application of Scrum practices and coordinate key delivery milestones.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog management and the team with Sprint Backlog and Definition of Done practices.
- Monitor team capacity and velocity to support planning, progress tracking and Agile reporting.
- Coach teams and stakeholders, fostering self-organisation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments, manage risks and issues, and protect the team from distractions.
- Coordinate feature delivery involving dependencies outside the squad when required.
Must-have requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and techniques, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Knowledge of Agile reporting and tracking tools, such as Jira.
- Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing and continuous integration tooling.
- Sound knowledge of software development and project management methodologies.
- Strong coaching, communication and facilitation skills, with a pragmatic servant-leadership approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines to achieve sprint goals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent English and good knowledge of Dutch and French.
