Summary
The Solution Architect guides the analysis, design, and technical activities throughout a project, defining the solution architecture while aligning with client requirements and organizational standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the Solution Architecture Document (SAD) and obtain validation from the Architecture Review Board.
- Identify the technologies to be used for the project in collaboration with Application and Enterprise Architects.
- Recommend development methodologies, frameworks, and coding guidelines based on architecture standards and business requirements.
- Provide the overall design and structure of the application.
- Ensure compliance with the defined architecture in the final solution.
- Identify software engineering tasks for the project manager.
- Coach and guide other technical team members and assist with difficult tasks.
- Help the project manager estimate project costs and technical aspects.
- Collaborate with testing staff to identify infrastructure requirements and support needed.
- Document and communicate technical decisions.
- Maximize reuse of existing assets and guidelines in the project.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in solution architecture and design.
- Proficiency in various development methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience with technical documentation and architectural standards.
- Ability to guide technical teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with other stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of specific software languages relevant to the project.
