Design Manager - Brussels, Belgium - Permanent - Data Centres - €60,000-€100,000
With extensive experience delivering advanced data centre developments, our client has become a trusted delivery partner for leading technology organisations. Its reputation is founded on technical excellence and a consistent ability to achieve successful project outcomes.
Our client is seeking a Design Manager to join their large scale project based in Belgium.
What You’ll Deliver
- Managing the scope of work, the design budget and contract documentation for each project.
- Preparing, monitoring and updating the design schedule, and efficiently allocating tasks within the team.
- Coordinating design activities between the Belgian team and international project teams, playing a connecting role within the MCF hub.
- Coordinating and optimising designs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external parties.
- Leading, reviewing and challenging design decisions and design changes.
Experience required:
- Hold a master's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
- Strong experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design and engineering projects, preferably within data centres, industrial buildings or other complex built environments.
- Proven experience in leading design teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineers, consultants, contractors and clients.
- You are familiar with digital and automated design and engineering processes, including 3D design and BIM environments (such as BIM360).
