Vrije Universiteit Brussel seeks a PhD candidate to advance optical fibre sensing for ultra‑high‑pressure rheometry. You will join the Brussels Photonics - B‑PHOT group to develop miniature fibre‑optic sensors and validate them in high‑pressure rheometry test setups, collaborating with Ghent University.
The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering, physics, photonics or related field, and strong knowledge of photonics, fibre optics and data analysis.
