Vrije Universiteit Brussel invites applications for a PhD-student in optical fibre sensing for ultra-high-pressure rheometry as part of the RheoLub project at the Brussels Photonics group (B-PHOT). The work aims to develop miniature fibre-optic sensors to measure pressure and temperature in high-pressure lubricants near the flow channel.
You will join the B-PHOT team, collaborate with Ghent University and supervisees, and may have limited teaching duties.
