Senior ServiceNow Developer

About the Role

NISH Tech BV is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead end-to‑end ServiceNow development, implementation and ITSM transformation initiatives for a telecom environment. The role combines hands‑on platform development, solution architecture, enterprise integrations and process automation, with a strong focus on delivering scalable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

You will design and develop advanced ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Scripted REST APIs and Service Portal. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects and project managers, while conducting code reviews, supporting platform upgrades and mentoring junior developers. The role also requires strong expertise in ITSM, ServiceNow scripting, REST/SOAP integrations and identity integrations such as LDAP, SAML and OAuth, alongside a solid understanding of Agile, DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to‑end ServiceNow development and implementation projects.
• Architect and develop scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications.
• Lead ITSM transformation and process automation initiatives.
• Develop advanced solutions using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Scripted REST APIs and Service Portal.
• Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow applications.
• Perform code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and project managers.
• Estimate development effort and prepare technical design documentation.
• Support solution proposals and technical discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Support ServiceNow platform upgrades and adoption of new features.
• Apply advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities.
• Perform performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to Agile, DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience
• ServiceNow CSA Certification
• Strong ITSM module and ServiceNow platform customization experience
• Development and implementation of ServiceNow scoped/custom applications
• Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs
• Integration Hub
• MID Server
• LDAP, SAML and OAuth integrations
