Your responsibilities
- Run the full tendering process: specifications, requests for quotation, bid evaluation and award recommendation.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, in Belgium and internationally.
- Source industrial equipment, technical packages (process, electrical, instrumentation) and services.
- Anticipate internal customers’ purchasing needs through data analysis and build a category purchasing plan.
- Manage active contracts: change orders, claims, renegotiations and contractual risk.
- Create and track purchase orders in the ERP system, and keep procurement files complete and auditable.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Applied Economics, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of procurement experience, ideally in an industrial, engineering or EPC/EPCM environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and comfortable drafting contractual texts. Knowledge of FIDIC contracts or public procurement is an asset.
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Coupa, Dynamics 365 or equivalent) and strong Excel skills. Fluent French and English, with Dutch a strong asset.
- Organised and autonomous, able to handle several files in parallel under project deadlines. Driving licence B.
