Functional D365 Supply Chain Management Senior Consultant

Technology Consulting | Microsoft Business Applications | Advisory | PwC Belgium

About the role

Supply chains aren't what they used to be — and that's the point. Disruption, sustainability pressure, and AI are reshaping how operations leaders think about procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics . As a Functional D365 Supply Chain Management Senior Consultant in our Microsoft Business Applications ( BizApps ) team, you'll help clients turn that complexity into something that actually works — designing, implementing, and optimising end-to-end D365 SCM solutions that deliver real impact. You'll work closely with experienced consultants, solution architects, and senior client stakeholders — building deep functional expertise , sharpening your consulting craft, and growing toward your next step. If you're curious, hands-on, and want to be part of a fast-growing Microsoft practice, read on.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the functional design, configuration, and implementation of D365 Supply Chain Management modules — Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Production, Master Planning, and Logistics.
  • Analyse business processes and requirements, identify gaps, and translate them into functional designs, user stories, and solution blueprints.
  • Facilitate workshops with key users and stakeholders — fit/gap, process design, validation, and training sessions.
  • Advise clients on best practices and standard D365 functionality.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to bring designs to life.
  • Support testing activities (SIT, UAT), end-user training, documentation, and change support.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and support pre-sales activities where helpful.

Work hands-on with AI and Copilot

  • Get hands-on with Copilot in Supply Chain , AI agents, and Microsoft's broader AI capabilities — applied to real client problems like demand sensing, supplier risk, warehouse operations, and exception handling.
  • Help clients move beyond AI pilots and into AI that actually runs in production.
  • Build genuine expertise in the Microsoft AI roadmap as it evolves — not by reading about it, but by delivering with it.

Grow with the team

  • Learn from experienced colleagues across functional, technical, and architecture roles.
  • Share your knowledge with juniors as you progress, and contribute to a one-team culture across local and nearshore delivery teams.
  • Help shape how the BizApps practice develops its capabilities, expertise , and market position.

What we're looking for

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (or AX 2012 / Dynamics AX).
  • Strong functional knowledge of one or more SCM domains — procurement, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, planning, or logistics .
  • Experience working in end-to-end ERP implementations; consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading workshops and interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Genuine curiosity about the wider Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem — Power Platform, integrations, data migration tooling, and a real interest in Copilot and AI agents in a supply chain context.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional solutions.
  • Team player, able to work independently and take ownership; structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; Microsoft D365 certifications are a strong asset.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
