As Responsible for the Engineering Department, you drive the strategic technical vision, transforming organizational goals into a clear, actionable roadmap. This role ensures operational excellence and seamless cross-functional collaboration to maintain a solid competitive edge.
Your main responsibilities:
- Strategically manage engineering teams.
- Translate corporate goals into a clear technical roadmap while ensuring projects meet high-quality standards.
- Drive the department’s strategies and KPI monitoring.
- Optimize processes, governance, and tools based on design-oriented principles to increase organizational maturity.
- Foster an inclusive, innovative, and learning-driven culture focused on accountability and performance.
- Deploy advanced technical methods and digital tools across the project lifecycle in collaboration with project management.
- Manage capacity planning, succession mapping, talent development, and diversity initiatives within the department.
qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (technical domain) or an equivalent technical qualification.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role within a technically challenging environment.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and inspire high-performing, diverse, and intercultural teams.
- Expertise in strategy deployment, cost estimation, risk management, and resource coordination under budget constraints.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and maintain a strategic perspective.
- Full professional fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
