We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Functional Analyst to join our banking sector client's team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical development expertise with functional analysis in a complex technical environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Java development, a strong understanding of functional analysis, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications to support business requirements.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Support the analysis of existing systems, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to solution design.
- Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, functional discussions, and technical problem-solving activities.
- Assist with functional testing, issue analysis, and validation to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Communicate requirements, progress, and potential challenges clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic banking environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in a complex technical environment.
- Good understanding of Java application development and software engineering principles.
- Experience in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into actionable specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
