Act Digital is looking for a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer to join a long-term project.
TASKS :
- Develop front-end website architecture.
- Design user interactions on web pages.
- Develop back-end website applications.
- Implement core business logic.
- Apply data and security best practices, including input validation, authentication and authorization, secure storage, compliant logging, and monitoring.
- Design and develop APIs.
- Participate in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Write clean, functional code on the front-end and back-end.
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform unit and integration testing, debug, fix, and validate code changes.
- Deliver solutions that fulfil functional and non-functional requirements and align with user expectations.
- Write technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain features across the entire stack, from designing user interfaces and consuming APIs to implementing server-side business logic and database interactions.
- Deploy and manage applications using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.
- Bridge the gap between front-end and back-end developers, facilitating communication and ensuring cohesive integration of all system components.

Required Certifications or Trainings :
- TOGAF 9 Foundations or equivalent.
- API Design & Development or equivalent.
Certifications or Trainings Considered an Advantage :
- Ethical hacking / Penetration testing.
- Ethical hacking / Offensive security.
- TensorFlow or equivalent.
Specific Expertise and Technologies :
- HTML.
- CSS.
- JUnit.
- MySQL.
- XML validation technologies.
- Node.js.
- HP Fortify.
- AS4.
- OASIS ebMS3.
- DSS.
- ASiC Containers.
- eDelivery/Domibus.
Technologies Considered an Advantage :
- ActiveMQ.
- Oracle WebLogic.
- Docker.
- GitLab.
- SonarQube.
- CI/CD.
- AS4.
- XSD/Schematron validation technologies.
Knowledge & Skills :
- Capacity to quickly ramp up on new projects and competence in collaborating within teams.
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings and ease of communication.
- Ability to apply security and cloud best practices.
- Proficiency in integrating front-end and back-end builds into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English; French is an additional asset.
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously.
- Results-oriented mindset, focused on delivering.
