Activities that fall into the responsibilities of the Program Management Officer, or where support is expected:

  • Active coordination and monitoring of several programs and its different projects and initiatives and status reporting for reporting to senior management:
  • Setting up a system for status reporting and monitoring of individual projects and initiatives regarding planning, progress, budget, resources, … and following-up projects afterwards. This implies acquiring (high level) basic knowledge of the context.
  • Translate project statuses and reporting to overall program status monitoring and reporting
  • Setting up and monitoring risk management (at program level + streams), identifying risks and reporting on them.
  • Recurring reporting to Program Manager(s)
  • Ensuring alignment between streams towards same goals and in line with overall planning, and coordinating interface management
  • Setting up a system for task management and follow-up on (sub-)tasks
  • Setting up and managing works and document management environment, e.g. SharePoint, Teams, …
  • Quality control and general stream leader support, by ensuring quality of deliverables, proper validation, communication and archiving
  • Planning, preparation and consolidation of Steering Committee meetings, stream-specific meetings and other ad-hoc meetings
  • Follow-up of stakeholder management and (internal) communication

Requirements:

  • Experience of at least 2 years in project support, former experience within Elia is a plus
  • Knowledge of Elia and the energy sector
  • Fluent in Dutch and or French with an excellent knowledge of English (both spoken and written)
  • Well organized
  • Autonomous and capable to manage and respect deadlines
  • Pro-active and impact-focused, being able to prioritize
  • Collaborative mindset, works well in a (project) team setting
