We want you to be a part of our team, from Brussels, as a .NET Developer.

Design, develop and unit-test back-end components using ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core
Implement REST and event-driven APIs and the underlying business logic
Implement persistence layers and integrate with messaging systems
Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms
Contribute source code and configuration to the customer’s CI/CD pipeline
Participate in code reviews
Produce and maintain API documentation
Identify, debug and fix defects; support deployment and migration activities

Bachelor's degree (EQF level 6) in Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum 15 years of IT related experience
Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small development teams.
Experience working in an international/intergovernmental organisation or a central national administration.
4 years developing .NET back-end applications
8 years of experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core and the .NET ecosystem
8 years of experience designing and implementing REST APIs and event driven integrations
6 years of experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks
5 years of experience with development and DevSecOps tooling, including version control (Git), issue tracking (e.g. Jira or equivalent), collaboration (e.g. Confluence or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, or Bamboo, or equivalent)
3 years of experience as technical lead of a back-end development team, including technical design decisions, definition of coding standards and performance and security optimisation
