Role Overview
As a Senior Network Development Manager, you will play a key role in the growth of DRIVECO’s charging network in Belgium. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and securing new high-potential locations, while developing long-term partnerships with key players in the Belgian commercial real estate and retail markets. You will take ownership of strategic and complex opportunities and accounts, managing the entire development cycle autonomously, from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract signature. Thanks to your experience, you will also contribute to strengthening the team’s network expansion practices and act as a reference point on complex negotiations, closing strategies and key account development.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and negotiate new real estate opportunities for the deployment of DRIVECO charging stations, in line with the company’s investment criteria, including traffic, revenue potential, investment requirements and return on investment.
- Actively develop your network of decision-makers and implement effective prospecting strategies to open new accounts and secure the most attractive locations across Belgium.
- Manage complex sales and development cycles involving strategic accounts, multiple stakeholders, tenders, long decision-making processes and senior decision-makers. You will build tailored commercial proposals supported by clear and compelling business cases.
- Develop relationships with key market players including real estate companies, property owners, brokers, developers, asset managers, retail groups, supermarket chains, business introducers and infrastructure operators.
- Identify the relevant decision-makers within target organisations and implement the appropriate strategy to successfully move opportunities through the pipeline and close deals.
- Manage strategic accounts independently and end-to-end, from initial prospecting and site identification through contract signature and ultimately the commissioning of the charging station.
- Contribute to the negotiation of framework agreements and strategic partnerships across Belgium with major real estate, retail and mobility players.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams — particularly Technical, Legal, Investment and Deployment — to ensure the feasibility, profitability and successful execution of projects.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Belgian market, identifying emerging trends, new developments, asset repositioning opportunities, regulatory developments and other opportunities that could support DRIVECO’s network expansion.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience, ideally in commercial real estate, property development, land acquisition, asset management, infrastructure development or complex business development.
- Proven experience in origination, prospecting and commercial negotiation, with a demonstrated ability to generate new opportunities and convert complex sales cycles into signed transactions.
- Strong experience managing strategic accounts autonomously. You know how to manage complex stakeholder relationships, structure negotiations and independently drive high-value opportunities forward.
- Excellent negotiation and commercial structuring skills, particularly for long-term contracts, leases, commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
- Ability to balance commercial potential, profitability and operational feasibility, including working closely with the Investment team to qualify opportunities, challenge assumptions and support investment decisions.
- Strong understanding of the Belgian commercial real estate and/or retail ecosystem and the ability to build relationships with relevant market stakeholders.
- Ability to share your expertise and contribute to the development of other team members, without necessarily holding direct management responsibilities.
- Strong results orientation, resilience and the ability to operate effective
