Within the Louvain School of Management (LSM) and the Louvain Research Institute in Management and Organizations (LouRIM), Social Sciences and Humanities Sector, this position will include the following teaching, research and community service duties:

• Teaching

To train future entrepreneurs and decision-makers to develop entrepreneurial skills and embed sustainability at the heart of their strategies, thereby contributing to the emergence of a more resilient andequitableeconomic fabric. This involves developingcutting-edgeskills in innovation, digitaltransformationand entrepreneurship, as well as in ethics and sustainability. It also involves fostering partnerships with private,publicand voluntary sector stakeholders committed to the sustainable transformation of local areas.

Generally speaking, specificattention will be paid to the impact of entrepreneurial activities on the wider society. This approach should help to increase the visibility and attractiveness of the LSM in rapidly growing fields, in line with international priorities (SDGs, green transition, responsible innovation).

As this is a position based in Mons, you will be involved in Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes. You may also be required to undertake teaching duties during off-peak hours (HD) on Mons and Charleroi sites. Overall, your presence will help to expand the capacity for Master thesis supervision and diversify teaching approaches, whilst ensuring a stronger interdisciplinary presence.

• Research

Strengthen trans-, multi-, and interdisciplinary research on entrepreneurship and innovation, particularly in its digital, environmental, and democratic dimensions, as well as on new forms of enterprise that reconcile organizational performance with a just transition. The development of research integrating governance and ethical issues is also essential.

More broadly, the aim is to join a highly active research team in entrepreneurship, which you will strengthen through your trans-, multi-, and interdisciplinary contribution, your ability to connect different themes, and your capacity to contribute to a transversal dynamic led within Louvain Research Institute in Management and Organizations (LouRIM) to integrate the dimensions of a just transition. In the longer term, knowledge of the local employment area and the ability to conduct research involving various economic stakeholders will also be appreciated.

Once tenured, you will carry out various service activities and responsibilities within the institution, such as being a member of a programme committee or examination committee or having management responsibilities within the faculty or research institute.

You will also contribute to serving society, particularly in the economic, social, cultural or development cooperation fields. Finally, you will ensure, through research and teaching activities, the university’s international visibility.
