We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Advanced Lithography & Patterning Process Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of next-generation semiconductor patterning processes for memory and logic applications.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing and analyzing experiments to develop innovative lithography and patterning solutions. You will work at the forefront of advanced semiconductor process development, contributing to high-quality patterning processes and supporting the integration of novel technologies into complex semiconductor manufacturing flows.

Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers, you will help translate experimental results into robust process improvements and integrated solutions, from wafer processing through metrology and electrical characterization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan and execute experiments for advanced lithography and patterning process development.
  • Develop, optimize and characterize high-quality patterning processes for advanced memory and logic applications.
  • Analyze experimental data, identify process limitations, troubleshoot technical challenges and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams, including lithography, etch, process integration and metrology, to develop and integrate innovative process solutions.
  • Support the integration of novel patterning processes and metrology techniques, connecting wafer-level results to electrical performance.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure successful process development and technology transfer.
  • Prepare technical reports, communicate experimental results and present project progress to team leaders, project managers and customers.
  • Manage multiple experimental activities while ensuring high-quality documentation and timely delivery of results.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Electronics or a closely related engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Initial relevant professional experience in microelectronics, semiconductor processing or process development and improvement.
  • Previous cleanroom experience is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, lithography and patterning technologies.
  • Experience in a semiconductor R&D or advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experimental and analytical skills, with the ability to design and execute experiments, interpret data and translate findings into actionable process improvements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and work in a structured, data-driven manner.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication, reporting and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced lithography and patterning technologies.
  • Familiarity with 193 nm immersion lithography and/or next-generation lithography platforms.
  • Exposure to advanced patterning challenges in memory or logic technology development.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor process characterization, metrology and process integration.
  • Experience working in a semiconductor research and development environment.
