Your roleAs an Aerodynamic Operations Engineer specialising in Low Pressure Compressors, you will play a key role in solving complex aerodynamic challenges in both production and in-service environments, ensuring that certification margins are maintained and operational efficiency is continuously improved.
In this role you will play a key role in:Addressing technical issues arising in production and service environments, assessing the aerodynamic impact of manufacturing deviations and proposing practical, robust solutions that maintain certification margins.
Managing concessions and non-conformities, ensuring timely and technically sound resolutions that meet both regulatory and operational requirements.
Supporting fleet and maintenance shop operations, responding to customer technical requests and defining maintenance criteria and repair solutions.
Driving process improvement and cost reduction initiatives, contributing to the optimisation of production and service engineering workflows.
Supporting the certification of modifications and new applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure full compliance with airworthiness standards.
Your Profile
We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused engineer who thrives in an operational environment and brings both analytical depth and practical problem-solving to every challenge.
You hold an engineering degree specialising in Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics or equivalent, and bring at least 2 years of proven aerodynamic engineering experience, ideally with exposure to turbomachinery.
You have solid knowledge of CFD tools and Python, and are comfortable applying these in an operational and industrial context.
You are able to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerancing, with a strong grasp of production processes and service engineering environments.
You are fluent in French and have a good command of technical English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
You bring a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritise and respond with agility under pressure in a field-oriented, customer-facing environment.
