Are you looking to build a career in real estate finance? Wanaka Partners is looking for a Property Finance Administrator to join our team. After a thorough onboarding period where we'll familiarise you with our working methods and organisation, you'll work hand in hand with our Property Managers on the financial and administrative management of a portfolio of buildings. If you're rigorous, detail-oriented, and enjoy keeping numbers and clients in sync, this role is for you.

Your responsibilities

  • Financial administration: Manage the financial administration of your assigned buildings using our dedicated property and accounting software.
  • Rent & charges collection: Call in rents and common charges contractually due from tenants or co-owners.
  • Invoice & payment control: Control supplier invoicing and rent/charge payments, index rents, and track budgets and bank guarantees.
  • Cost allocation: Distribute shared costs across owners and tenants using allocation keys.
  • Client reporting: Report periodically on the accounting situation to clients.
  • Accounting support: Provide broader support across accounting operations for the team.

What makes this role exciting?

  • Impact: Your accuracy and follow-through directly support smooth, transparent operations for owners and tenants alike.
  • Growth opportunities: This role is a strong stepping stone toward more senior finance and accounting positions in property management.
  • Continuous learning: Benefit from an intensive, hands-on onboarding and ongoing training within the company.
  • Team spirit: Work in close, daily collaboration with our Property Managers.

What we're looking for

  • A background in accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in French and Dutch, with very good English (B2 minimum).
  • Proactive and comfortable maintaining regular contact with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented, rigorous, and disciplined with deadlines.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
