Electrical Engineer
Location: Mons, Belgium
We are looking for Electrical Engineers to join a data centre project in Belgium.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical systems within your assigned package.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including client, main contractor, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Review IFC/design information and support coordination into installation drawings via BIM, ensuring compliance with specifications and programme.
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, and engineering coordination.
- Support site safety and quality in conjunction with project, safety, and QA teams, including documentation close‑out.
- Support project planning to ensure engineering activities align with programme requirements.
- Manage all package elements including labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, variations, and valuations.
- Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
- Monitor subcontractor progress, manpower, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure works are delivered to specification, QA standards, and agreed benchmarks.
- Support work packs, snagging, validation, and handover activities.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings and progress reviews.
- Issue weekly cost and progress reports, including risks, delays, labour, and materials.
- Manage material tracking, procurement, and delivery schedules.
- Manage technical submittals and approvals.
- Support BIM coordination and promote efficient engineering delivery methods.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
- Support project close‑out including O&M manuals, QA files, safety files, and final accounts.
- Carry out other duties as required to support project delivery.
Requirements
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage workload and work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of HV/MV systems and modularisation is advantageous.
