Electrical Engineer

Location: Mons, Belgium

We are looking for Electrical Engineers to join a data centre project in Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical systems within your assigned package.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including client, main contractor, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Review IFC/design information and support coordination into installation drawings via BIM, ensuring compliance with specifications and programme.
  • Manage RFIs, technical queries, and engineering coordination.
  • Support site safety and quality in conjunction with project, safety, and QA teams, including documentation close‑out.
  • Support project planning to ensure engineering activities align with programme requirements.
  • Manage all package elements including labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, variations, and valuations.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Monitor subcontractor progress, manpower, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure works are delivered to specification, QA standards, and agreed benchmarks.
  • Support work packs, snagging, validation, and handover activities.
  • Attend and contribute to site meetings and progress reviews.
  • Issue weekly cost and progress reports, including risks, delays, labour, and materials.
  • Manage material tracking, procurement, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage technical submittals and approvals.
  • Support BIM coordination and promote efficient engineering delivery methods.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
  • Support project close‑out including O&M manuals, QA files, safety files, and final accounts.
  • Carry out other duties as required to support project delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of HV/MV systems and modularisation is advantageous.
