What you will do
You will be responsible for designing, coordinating and monitoring the complete implementation trajectory of the CER legislation (Critical Entities Resilience) within the organisation. Your goal is to ensure timely and demonstrable compliance with legal obligations regarding the resilience of critical entities, and to implement the necessary organisational, technical and operational measures to safeguard the continuity of essential services.
Your work will involve coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholders across the organisation, and ensuring that all compliance and governance processes are properly executed. You will take a risk-oriented approach to identify vulnerabilities and drive the implementation of measures that strengthen the organisation's resilience.
What we are looking for
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, compliance, risk management, business continuity, security or a comparable domain
- Experience with organisation-wide change projects is a strong asset
Knowledge
- Experience with project and programme management
- Insight into risk management, business continuity management and crisis management
- Knowledge of compliance and governance processes
- Affinity with infrastructure, operational processes and security
Skills
- Strong coordination and organisational skills
- Ability to connect multidisciplinary teams
- Analytically strong and risk-oriented
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Results-driven with an eye for legislative and organisational requirements
Languages
- Dutch: native or bilingual proficiency
- English: nice to have
The setting
This assignment runs for 16 months, until the end of December 2027, and is part-time at 3/5. The start is as soon as possible. The role is hybrid, based in the Antwerp region. You will work within a Belgian public company active in the water sector, contributing to a safer and more resilient infrastructure that supports essential public services.
