Our client, a prominent organization in the transport and logistics sector, is looking for a specialist to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions. The role focuses on analyzing analytical needs, documenting functional requirements, and designing data pipelines to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into functional specifications and use cases for data pipelines and reporting.
- Provide recommendations on reporting techniques using mockups, proof-of-concepts, and industry best practices.
- Develop and manage roadmaps by collaborating with data users and suppliers across various departments.
- Assist development and testing teams in translating functional requirements into validated data assets.
- Document solutions and maintain up-to-date technical documentation to ensure architectural alignment.
- Coordinate with data owners and architects to ensure all solutions comply with the existing business and system architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position such as Functional Analyst or Application Owner.
- Proven experience with the Azure data estate.
- In-depth knowledge of analysis techniques including use cases and scenario creation.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum environments.
- You possess a Master's degree.
- You have knowledge of transport operations within the railway or public infrastructure sector.
- You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You are methodical, precise, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French at a C-level with B2 level proficiency in the other language and English.
