Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. More than a 100 airlines, lessors, private aircraft operators and MRO partners have entrusted their engines to our company. We employ over 500 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.
To strengthen our Supply Chain Department we are looking for a
LOGISTICS TEAM LEADER:
Your role
- You are a point of contact for our transport partners;
- You lead a team of 10 logistics colleagues;
- You provide support for your team by developing their knowledge in cooperation with your manager;
- You propose relevant KPI's and create reports for the activity;
- You lead the daily activity meeting together with your manager;
- You follow the work and safety instructions specifically to the workstation and the company;
- You respect the internal quality regulations and the rules of logistics and administrative management of the company;
- You inspire and enthuse employees and stimulate teamwork;
- You take initiatives and make proposals in a context of continuous improvement, pro-actively evaluates, coordinates the improvement of current work methods and introduces new technologies as they arise;
- You maintain constructive and effective relations within and outside the company;

Candidate skills & requirements
Your profile:
- You hold at least a Bachelor in Supply Chain or Logistics, or a technical education in Logistics with experience, or you have demonstrated experience as a Team Leader;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in team management;
- You demonstrate good communication skills, good practical sense and a sense of initiative while anticipating and taking part in the context of continuous improvement;
- You have a good team spirit and are open and adaptable;
- You speak Dutch, French and are fluent in English;
- You have a good knowledge of IT tools (MS Office + ERP). SAP is a plus
