Job Description

For one of our clients active in the defense sector, we are looking for a Systems Engineer to support the development, integration and validation of advanced embedded systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithms
  • Perform simulations and performance analysis using MATLAB/Simulink
  • Ensure Verification & Validation (V&V) of algorithms and system performance
  • Support algorithm integration into embedded hardware and HIL test environments
  • Contribute to generated C code optimization and integration
  • Analyze test and field data and support system performance improvement
  • Maintain and develop digital twin / simulation models
  • Support IVVQ activities, system integration and qualification
  • Collaborate with project, software, hardware, quality and customer teams

Profile / Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of mathematics and statistics
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink
  • Understanding of embedded and real-time systems
  • Knowledge of C/C++ and Python is an asset
  • Experience with Model-Based Design or HIL environments is appreciated
  • Knowledge of DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO 26262 is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Structured, proactive and interested in high-tech embedded systems
