Our research
We are looking for an in-house caregiver to accompany and care for an elderly gentleman living alone at home.
About the beneficiary
The gentleman, 1.80 meters tall and of heavy build, suffers from Parkinson's disease and diabetes. He fell and fractured his hip, requiring surgery. He is partially continent and generally sleeps at night. He has difficulty moving around: he uses a stairlift or wheelchair for longer distances. The stairs are equipped with an elevator.
The husband speaks English and Greek. His wife, who is independent, speaks French. They have three children and three grandchildren living abroad. The wife, a lawyer, still works, is often away on business, and is not home during the day.
Your missions
Dressing assistance
Shower or bath twice a week
Medication preparation (on Sunday for the week)
Accompaniment to physiotherapy on foot (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 15pm, gentleman in wheelchair)
Light cleaning: bedroom, bathroom and kitchen
Occasional errands (croissants or small items – envelope left by Madame)
Typical day:
- 7am-8am: Wake up, wash, get dressed
- Breakfast: coffee + muffins, medication + insulin test
- Tidying the bedroom, making the bed, opening the windows, and doing a light bathroom cleaning.
- 12-13 pm: Meal preparation + medication + insulin test
- Free afternoons except for physiotherapy 3 times a week at 15pm
- 18-19 pm: Meal preparation + medication + insulin test
- 22 p.m.: Last insulin test + medication, television
- 10:30-11:00 PM: Bedtime

Good cook
Discreet, respectful, well-presented
Non-smoker preferred
Since her room is on the 3rd floor, she must be able to climb the stairs (apartment on the 3rd floor)
We are looking for someone who speaks fluent French and/or English or Greek.
