We're looking for a senior information security consultant to turn NIS2 obligations into practical security policies and controls. You'll support ISMS implementation and prepare evidence for audits and inspections.
What you'll do
- Develop and align information security policies with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Implement practical technical and organisational security measures.
- Prepare, support and follow up audits, inspections and oversight activities.
- Document compliance evidence for auditors and supervisory authorities.
- Track project progress and report to stakeholders.
What you bring
- At least 10 years of experience in complex enterprise IT environments.
- At least five years in operational or organisational information security.
- Proven implementation and rollout of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- In-depth knowledge of NIS2, its transposition into Belgian law, CyberFundamentals and related security frameworks.
- Project and stakeholder management experience, including Agile and Prince2.
- Experience preparing, supporting and following up audits, inspections and oversight activities.
- Ability to balance cybersecurity risks with operational objectives.
- Clear communication, independent working, leadership and persuasion across internal and external stakeholders.
- Dutch (B2).
- French (B2).
- English (B2).
Nice to have
- Experience implementing an ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001.
- Experience in the public sector or social security.
