Data and Analytics Manager - AFOSOC-VESOFO

Dates: 2026-09-01 — 2027-10-31

Arrangements: Part-time 4/5; hybrid role; 3/5 on-site presence required.

As Data and Analytics Manager, you develop and manage databases, ICT applications and data flows for AFOSOC VESOFO. You collaborate with internal users, external partners and suppliers to address data-management needs. You report to the ICT Manager, who reports to the Director. The assignment combines technical development with analysis, coordination and user support.

You follow up the development of the shared database, write technical specifications and procedures, and test the programmed solution with users. You analyze test results, implement changes or propose modifications to the external development partner. You also organize meetings, follow up project decisions, and prepare implementation and key-user training. In addition, you investigate operational and data-related problems and develop suitable IT solutions.

Alongside development, you manage the shared database, including users, data structure, access rights, configuration, backup and system security. You prepare reports, verify data from annual accounts and subsidy files, and compare information from different sources and data cubes. The role involves daily contact with users, ICT colleagues and external developers, as well as monthly contact with partners such as RSZ and KSZ. The assignment is hybrid and part-time, with a required 3/5 on-site regime in Brussels.

  • Dutch or French at native or bilingual proficiency.
  • English at professional working proficiency.
  • Experience preparing reports and reporting.
